Where to get advice on environmental issues
How WRAP can help you improve resource efficiency and reduce waste
Since 1 April 2010, WRAP (Waste & Resources Action Programme) is the lead body for resource efficiency drawing together the work of six other delivery programmes, including Envirowise. WRAP provides confidential advice to UK businesses on environmental issues, such as:
efficient use of raw materials and resources
- waste reduction at source
- supply chain efficiency
- cleaner design
- recycling

You can access help from Envirowise in a number of ways:
- The Northern Ireland Envirowise team can provide technical guidance and industry advice including case studies, tools and guides.
- Calling the Envirowise Northern Ireland Helpline on Tel 0800 585 794 will provide you with practical, expert advice. The advice line is available during office hours. Queries can range from simple signposting to in-depth support from specialist advisers.
