Funding and support to take innovative business ideas to the next level

Innovate UK, part of UK Research and Innovation, is offering up to 50 Women in Innovation Awards to women entrepreneurs in small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs) across the UK.

Each winner will receive a £75,000 grant and tailored business support to help them develop their exciting and innovative ideas.

The competition aims to support a diverse group of winners who:

  • can be role models for women from all backgrounds
  • come from regions across the UK
  • address societal, environmental, and economic challenges
  • work in various innovation areas

The goal is to help women who are at a critical stage with their business, where an award will enable them to take an important step forward.

Projects must be led by a woman founder, co-founder or senior decision maker within a UK registered SME. Applications can come from any area of innovation and can apply to any part of the economy.
