Expert marketing and community-building support for games businesses

UK-registered indie games studios can apply for the new Go To Market Academy, a business programme designed to help companies strengthen their go-to-market strategies, build sustainable player communities and support long-term growth.

The programme has been launched by Ukie, the trade association for the UK's games industry, in partnership with Discord and GameFlex.

The Academy will include six online modules covering:

  • audience and market insight
  • marketing strategy
  • using Discord to build communities
  • campaign planning and delivery
  • studio branding
  • long-term business development

Participants will receive specialist input, peer learning and advice from guest speakers from across the games industry. They will also have access to a dedicated Discord server to continue discussions between sessions.

The programme is open to UK-registered games companies with a project ready to begin go-to-market planning. Places are limited to ten to 12 participants.

The programme will begin with an in-person session at MCM London/EGX on 23 October 2026. Online sessions will run through November and early December, followed by an in-person event where participating studios will present their go-to-market plans.

Applications close on 30 September 2026.
