The NI Executive launched the NI Micro-business Hardship Fund to help Northern Ireland based micro-businesses and social enterprises unable to access other regional and national COVID-19 support measures.
NOTE: Applications to the NI Micro-business Hardship Fund closed at 6 pm on Friday 12 June 2020.
I have applied to the scheme, how can I check the progress of my application?
You can check the progress of your submitted application online:
- Log into your dedicated portal account.
- Go to 'Applications'.
- Click on the ‘Submitted’ tab, which will show the status of your application.
Invest NI will process applications as quickly as possible. Once an application is approved, applicants will be notified by email that their application has been successful.
Unsuccessful applicants will also be informed by email.
Can I appeal a decision on my application?
Yes, you can request that Invest NI reviews the level of assistance offered to your business or its decision not to provide support through the scheme.
You must appeal in writing by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org within three working days of receipt of notification of the original decision.
Please note, appeals specific to the scheme's eligibility criteria are not part of this process.
