Cultural support programmes for Belfast-based organisations and individuals

Belfast City Council (BCC) is running a support programme to help the local cultural sector alleviate the negative impact of coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

Their Pathfinder 2021 Awards and Creative Practitioner Bursary Programme are open for applications until 22 March 2021.

Pathfinder 2021 Awards
Organisations are eligible to apply if they have not received any core funding from the public sector. An organisation can apply for up to £20,000.

The Council is holding a virtual information session on 1 March 2021. To register for this online session, contact the BCC by email culture@belfastcity.gov.uk and include 'Pathfinder Awards' as the email subject. The Council will also provide one-to-one guidance sessions on 8 and 9 March. To register for an online session, contact the Council by email.

The closing date for applications is 12 noon on Monday 22 March 2021.

Creative Practitioner Bursary Programme
This programme will award a £10,000 bursary to ten creative practitioners. Five bursaries will go to music-based creative practitioners and five to creative practitioners working in other creative arts.

The Council is holding a virtual information session on 1 March 2021. To register for this online session, contact the BCC by email culture@belfastcity.gov.uk and include 'Creative Practitioner Bursary' as the email subject. The Council will also provide one-to-one guidance sessions on 11, 12 and 15 March. To register for an online session, contact the BCC by email.
