Up to £4 million available for demonstrators addressing cyber security challenges in the Internet of Things

UK businesses can apply for a share of up to £4 million for collaborative research and development (R&D) projects addressing major cyber security challenges in the Internet of Things (IoT).

The funding aims to support collaborative, business-led R&D projects that should result in a new product or products, industrial process or service, which must be proven in as part of a demonstrator. Preference will be given to projects that include a plan to test near-to-market interventions and experiments in real environments.

If interested in applying for funding, your proposal must address one of the following two themes:

  • cyber resilient IoT systems for critical national infrastructures
  • secure and energy-efficient IoT systems in resource-constrained environments
