If your business has received environmental tax relief you could feature in a HMRC case study
HMRC is looking for Northern Ireland businesses who have benefitted from a tax relief for an environmental product or project and who are willing to be used in a case study.
The Government is committed to:
- the environment and UK actions to safeguard the future of the planet
- increasing R&D expenditure to 2.4% of GDP by 2027 (up from 1.7%)
HMRC is looking to run a campaign to promote tax reliefs which feature an environmental product or project, such as:
Businesses who have successfully claimed relief have the opportunity to act as advocates by being featured in a case study on a website, in social media posts and/or in videos. Case studies are useful to explain to other businesses how you have benefitted and what the relief has meant to your business.
Any Northern Ireland business that has secured tax reliefs to assist with eco-friendly projects would be welcome to volunteer. HMRC is particularly interested in attracting more eligible claims locally as current take-up of these tax reliefs is relatively low.
