Ending Violence Against Women and Girls Grant Programme for Causeway Coast and Glens

Grants of £1,000 to £25,000 are available to support projects that challenge harmful attitudes and behaviours

Community and voluntary organisations are invited to apply for funding through the Ending Violence Against Women and Girls Grant Programme, which is now open across the Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council area.

The purpose of the fund is to support, promote and develop the capacity of community voluntary groups within the area to deliver projects to prevent and challenge the attitudes, behaviours and culture that can lead to violence against women and girls.

The minimum grant awarded will be £1,000, with the maximum being £25,000. Funding can be applied for within three tiers of support.

Eligibility criteria

This programme is for community and voluntary organisations. They must be not-for-profit organisations that support a wide range of social, environmental and economic outcomes and rely to a large extent on voluntary contributions through their boards of trustees, formal volunteering and donations.

Some of these organisations may be registered charities. It may also include, for example, arts, faith, youth and sporting organisations.
