Tourism Northern Ireland has launched the Experience Development Programme for local tourism organisations.

The programme provides financial assistance to develop new and compelling visitor experiences that embrace the giant spirit and stimulate demand for Northern Ireland tourism.

Financial assistance
The amount of financial assistance available is between £5,000 and £200,000.

The assistance from Tourism Northern Ireland will not exceed:

  • 80 per cent of eligible project costs for private sector and voluntary/community sector applicants
  • 50 per cent of eligible project costs for public sector applicants

Eligibility criteria
To apply for the programme you must be an existing tourism provider, located and operating in Northern Ireland.

Application process
There are two steps to the application process:

Step 1 - Expression of Interest form must be submitted by 15:00 on 14 September 2020. This will check your project’s eligibility against the programme criteria.

Step 2 - Full Application form must be submitted by 15:00 on 25 September 2020. You will only be provided with a full application form if you meet the criteria through your expression of interest form.
