Frameworks workshop: How to design a start-up

4 November 2019

Interactive workshop on how design can add value to start-up businesses

Can you really ‘design’ a start-up?

What value can design really bring start-ups focused on fund-raising, shipping product and onboarding customers?

What exactly is meant by design in relation to start-ups?

As part of Belfast Design Week 2019, this unique ‘design edition’ of Frameworks invites Damian Cranney of local design and innovation studio Big Motive to lead proceedings.

Damian will unpack the role of design, dig in on global research and share examples of how design tools, teams and practice is delivering growth, scale and better valuations for start-up teams across the globe.

Attendees should expect an interactive session with lots of practical information, tools and insights from Damian’s experience leading and working with product teams of all size and shapes.

Who should attend?

Designers, technologists and entrepreneurs with more than a passing curiosity about design, innovators with a big idea, creative professionals from start-ups or early-stage businesses.
