Support for projects at the cross roads between different cultural and creative sectors

The European Commission has published a new call aimed at cultural and audiovisual institutions in the cross-sector strand of Creative Europe.

Under this call, support will be given to projects:

  • featuring new forms of creation at the cross roads between different cultural and creative sectors, including the audiovisual sector, and through the use of innovative technologies, including virtual reality
  • fostering innovative cross sectoral approaches and tools to facilitate access, distribution, promotion and/or monetisation of culture and creativity, including cultural heritage

Proposals must be submitted by a consortium composed of at least three legal entities coming from three different countries participating in the Creative Europe programme and presenting a diverse range of expertise across several cultural and creative sectors.

Projects must include at least one audiovisual and new digital technology aspect to be implemented in at least one of the following areas: publishing, museums, performing arts and/or cultural heritage.

The total budget for this call is €1.75 million. The minimum grant available for each project is €300,000.

How to apply
Applications must be submitted electronically before 16:00 on 14 May 2020. New applicants must first obtain a Participant Identification Code (PIC) by registering for an EU login and entering company information into the Funding and Tenders Portal.
