Growth Pathway Advisory Scheme for UK space businesses
Support for space businesses seeking investment
UK-registered space businesses can apply for subsidised expert advice to help them attract investment and grow. This support, under the UK Space Agency’s Growth Pathway scheme, is for businesses that are:
- planning to raise a Series A or later investment round, and/or
- preparing for exit within the next 18 months
Businesses in related sectors may also be eligible if they have a strong connection to the UK space sector. The scheme aims to help businesses become more attractive to investors by improving their business plans, financial information and investment proposals.
What support is available
Participating businesses first receive a free assessment of their readiness to raise investment. They are then offered specialist advisory services from leading advisors and industry experts to address issues flagged in the assessment. Additionally, businesses get access to specialist advice and guidance on business strategy, finance, tax, intellectual property, legal issues and governance.
The UK Space Agency pays up to 75% of eligible advisory costs, up to a limit of £100,000 including VAT. Businesses must pay the remaining 25%.
All successful participants receive a review of their marketing materials (eg an investor deck) alongside the chosen specialist advisory services at no extra cost. There is also an opportunity to meet an investor after completing the support.
Applications for the scheme close on Sunday 25 October 2026.
Apply for the Growth Pathway scheme.
Businesses that are accepted must request their chosen advisory services by 1 January 2027. All support must be used by 31 March 2027.
