Growth strategy workshop for food businesses

Event to help develop your skills to grow your food business 

CAFRE in conjunction with Invest NI and the Enterprise Europe Network will deliver a morning workshop on business strategy centred on customers and products. 

The aim of this workshop is to bring together food business owners and managers to develop ways of clearly understanding customers, product development and commercial viability. To nurture skills to enable you to establish international markets that will help take the innovations of company projects forward to commercial success.

Event content
This workshop will: 
help you to define the specific needs and wants of

  • your customers
  • highlight the importance of customer segments and
  • how to prioritise them
  • motivate and inspire this economically important sector
  • facilitate networking in a neutral environment
  • develop understanding of business planning and challenges

This entrepreneurial skills ‘taster’ workshop will provide you with an introduction to the Business Model Canvas and the Ten Questions Methodology. Through hands-on learning, real world case studies and group work, the workshop will enable you to test practical tools that will support you to develop and refine a value proposition to support growth.

The workshop is a great opportunity to challenge and explore your assumptions and learn a different thought process that will assist strategic planning. The workshop may well whet your appetite to engage in a fuller two-day intensive workshop.
