Help to Grow: Management scheme
Expert training and mentoring for growth is available under the management strand of the Help to Grow scheme
Small and medium-sized businesses can access a 12-week executive development programme delivered by leading UK business schools accredited to the Small Business Charter.
The programme is provided under the government's Help to Grow scheme and includes 50 hours of in-depth training, 1:1 support from a business mentor and the opportunity to grow your business, fast.
The 12-week programme costs participants £750, with the remaining 90 per cent subsidised by the government. You can take part around your existing work commitments and access learning through a blend of online and face-to-face sessions.
Aimed at senior leaders in small and medium businesses, the course covers:
- strategies for growth and innovation
- leading high-performance teams
- digital adoption
- financial management
- responsible business practices
You will hear from inspirational business leaders and learn alongside local peers, with access to a national alumni network.
By the end of the programme, you will develop a tailored business growth plan to increase productivity and grow your revenue, and help take your business to the next level.
To join the Help to Grow: Management Course, your business must:
- be an SME based in the United Kingdom
- from any business sector, employing between 5 and 249 people
- have been operational for at least one year
- not be a charity
The applicant must be a senior decision maker (such as Chief Executive, Finance Director, Operations Director, etc) and commit to completing all sessions.
From 14 June 2022, businesses with 10 or more employees are eligible to have up to two participants join the scheme. Additionally, previous participants on the Small Business Leadership Programme are now eligible to join the scheme.
Courses are open for registration through to the end of September 2022. New dates and locations are added regularly. Find a Help to Grow: Management course near you.
