Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council re-opens the Small Business Grants Programme
Through this programme, successful applicants can apply for grants between £500 and £2000
Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council has re-opened the Small Business Grants Programme for a third call to support businesses who have yet to benefit from the initiative.
This programme is funded by the Department for Communities (DfC) and the Department of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs (DAERA) COVID-19 Recovery Revitalisation Scheme.
Funding is available to support businesses through economic recovery and help to provide a safe town and village environment. The programme will also help hospitality businesses with funding to purchase new furniture and equipment to create outdoor customer spaces.
Applicants can apply for grants between £500 and £2000, to support the purchase of equipment and items to mitigate the impact of the new working environment, make shop front improvements and ensure safety for visitors and workers alike.
To be eligible, businesses must be located within the urban areas of Lisburn, Dundonald and Carryduff or in the rural villages of our council area. The list of areas covered is detailed in the application form.
Applications are open until 17:00 on Thursday 4 March 2021. They will be awarded on a first-come-first-served basis, in line with the eligibility criteria.
