Opportunity to learn about how apprenticeships can help your business

As part of the inaugural NI Apprenticeship Week 2020, Mid Ulster Skills Forum in partnership with Mid Ulster District Council is hosting an employer information event to find out more about how apprenticeships can help your business.

This event is aimed at improving employer knowledge and awareness of apprenticeships and the positive impact apprenticeships have on individuals, employers and the economy.

The event will include speakers from:

  • Department for Education
  • South West College
  • Northern Regional College
  • College of Agriculture
  • Food and Rural Enterprise

There will also be testimonials from a local business Sandvik, which hires apprentices and apprentice Coleen O’Boyle, who works in Mallaghan Engineering. Both Sandvik and Coleen have been shortlisted as finalists in their respective categories at the first NI Apprenticeship Awards.
