Ulster Carpets, established in 1938, is the first textile manufacturer in Northern Ireland to receive the environmental Carbon Trust Standard. This award is given to organisations that measure, manage and reduce their carbon footprint.  The Portadown business has saved thousands of tonnes of carbon through innovation and use of energy saving devices.
