Grant funding of up to £4,999 is available to help rural businesses recover, sustain and grow

Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council has launched the Rural Business Grants scheme for existing micro enterprises based in a rural area.

The aim is to support these businesses to sustain or grow through the Department of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs’ Tackling Rural Poverty and Social Isolation (TRPSI) Programme.

Scheme details

The scheme is open to eligible businesses who have not previously received funding under the TRPSI programme.

Capital grants up to a maximum of 50 per cent grant rate are available. Grant aid of between £500 - £4,999 is available for projects to purchase equipment, machinery or set up an e-commerce website. The maximum project cost is £20,000.
