This programme aims to support businesses as they recover from the impact of COVID-19

Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council has launched a £279,000 Small Business Grants Programme to support local businesses as they work to recover from the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The programme is part of the Capital COVID-19 Recovery Revitalisation Scheme funded by the Department for Communities (DfC) and the Department of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs (DAERA).

Programme details
Different levels of grant assistance are available across business sectors ranging from £500 to £2,000 per organisation.

The funding aims to assist businesses in meeting operational challenges for example, hospitality and licensed businesses may wish to create outdoor customer spaces whilst independent businesses and retailers may decide to implement additional safety measures.

Applications are open until Wednesday 9 September 2020 and will be awarded on a first come first served basis in line with the eligibility criteria.
