TechTides conference to return to Derry
TechTides will return to the Millennium Forum in Derry~Londonderry on Tuesday 27 October 2026
The one-day technology conference first took place at this venue in 2025 before moving to Belfast earlier this year. Organisers say the first two TechTides events attracted more than 1,100 attendees, including technology businesses, entrepreneurs, investors, students and other professionals from across Northern Ireland and beyond.
The 2026 programme will cover topics such as:
- the use of artificial intelligence in business
- machine learning in production
- agentic systems
- funding and investment
- building globally successful companies from the North West

Pitch your start-up
As part of the conference, TechTides is inviting ten technology start-ups to pitch their businesses on stage. To apply, start-ups must:
- be based in Northern Ireland or the Republic of Ireland
- have been established for no more than 24 months
- have raised no more than £250,000 in grants, funding or investment
A £3,000 prize will be awarded as part of the pitch event.
The deadline to apply is 14 September 2026.
