Visit to China for precision medicine businesses

14 November 2019

Opportunities for UK SMEs developing precision medicines

Innovate UK's Global Business Innovation Programme, delivered by Enterprise Europe Network, is organising a visit to China for up to 15 precision medicine businesses who are working with technologies that enable early and accurate diagnosis to inform patient treatment, as well as the availability of targeted therapies.

More specifically, the programme will select precision medicine companies with a focus on:

  • early diagnosis and detection of disease (including remote and point of care monitoring)
  • digital innovation and data management in medicine, (including ‘omics data integration, artificial intelligence application to medical imaging and clinical decision support)

The fully funded programme consists of a preparation phase in the UK, an 8-day programme of activity to China and subsequent follow up support, to help your business develop relationships with partners in the region, allowing you to gain a foothold in a market set for extensive growth.

This is an excellent opportunity to showcase the best of UK science and to build international collaborative partnerships that deliver sustained economic and health benefits in both countries.

How to apply
To participate in this programme, your business must be an SME and established in the UK. Participation is through a competitive process.

To apply, you must first register your interest. A link in the confirmation email will give you access to the full online application form.
