Visit to South Korea for digital health SMEs

14 November 2019

Opportunities for UK SMEs developing digital health technologies

Innovate UK's Global Business Innovation Programme, delivered by Enterprise Europe Network, is organising a visit to South Korea for up to 15 digital health businesses.

The visit will take place in March 2020. It is aimed at small and medium-sized businesses working in the digital health field focusing on cancer, heart diseases, cerebrovascular diseases, and ageing population.

The technology associated with using big data and artificial intelligence is of particular interest to the organisers, as well as devices and solutions that use digital means to improve current strategies for healthcare discovery, diagnosis, prevention, personalised therapy and process optimisation.

Why should you register?
Successful companies will be fully funded and supported through a structured programme of support consisting of a preparation phase in the UK and a 5-day tailored programme of activities in South Korea with the opportunity to:

  • visit South Korean medical centres, medical clusters
  • meet with digital health companies
  • attend Korea International Medical & Hospital Equipment Show with the aim of creating opportunities for technology collaboration

Delegates will also benefit from follow up advisory support to help develop relationships with South Korean partners.

How to apply
To participate in this programme, your business must be an SME and established in the UK. Participation is through a competitive process.

To apply, you must first register your interest. A link in the confirmation email will give you access to the full online application form.

Closing date for full applications is 6 December 2019.
