New programme aimed at supporting businesses providing tourism experiences to market and sell their services online

Tourism NI and the the Department of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs have launched a new programme designed to help tourism experience providers enhance their websites, with capital grants available of up to £40,000.

The programme aims to improve the attractiveness and bookability of Northern Ireland’s visitor experiences, given the market pressures within the post coronavirus environment.

Experience providers will be given guidance on how to enhance their websites, with financial assistance for necessary improvements such as:

  • search engine optimisation
  • provision of the right content
  • the use of the right tactics to capture sales

The programme is open from 20 July 2020 and expression of interest forms must be received by 3pm on 21 August 2020.
