Search is on for the next big thing in healthcare interventions
The Wild Card Programme is a call to action for Europe’s innovators. Launched in 2017, Wild Card is backed by EIT Health - one of the largest healthcare networks in the world - and supported by the European Union.
Every year, Wild Card aims to attract the brightest talent, mentor founders‑to‑be and invest up to €2 million in the two most promising ventures.
Its 2020 competition is currently open and looking for the brightest minds to help solve some of Europe's most pressing health challenges.
This year, the search is on to find solutions that can address barriers to:
The competition is open to all inventors, innovators and daring disruptors with ideas that can potentially transform healthcare. You may be working on a solution already, have a game-changing idea or simply possess unique expertise needed to create a transformative start-up.
How to apply
To apply, you must fill in the online application form, which comprises a written submission and a three-minute video. You can apply as an individual or a small team (max three people).
The deadline for applications is 9 February 2020.
All submissions will be evaluated after the deadline. If you make the shortlist, you will be invited for one or more online interviews. If successful, you will be notified by 2 March 2020.
