Women in Business Awards 2026 is now open for entries

The 2026 Women in Business Awards will take place this March, celebrating the achievements of women across Northern Ireland. Now in its 14th year, the event highlights women making a difference and inspiring others.

The awards recognise women from different fields, welcoming leaders from all sectors to celebrate the impact of women in Northern Ireland.

Award categories

The awards are free to enter and include the following categories: 

• Advancing Diversity and Inclusion Champion in the Workplace
• Growth and Scaling Business of the Year
• Innovation in Business Award
• Customer Excellence Award
• Professional Services Excellence Award
• Transformation Leader of the Year
• Best New Start-up
• Mentor of the Year
• Young Businesswoman of the Year
• Businesswoman of the Year
• Apprentice of the Year
• Best Small Business

How to apply

You can nominate yourself, a friend or a colleague for an award. Women in Business will be hosting an informative webinar on Friday 9 January to help you create a strong award entry. 

The session will feature insights from some of last year’s winners, who will share tips and advice for crafting a successful submission.

Applications will close on Monday 19 January 2026 at noon.
