Fundraising sprints to raise venture capital

Summary:

Week-long fundraising sprints that provides hyper-individualised and on-demand support to five startups based in Northern Ireland.

Eligibility criteria:

Sprints are for CEO founders of venture scale companies based in Northern Ireland that are actively raising investment or within the next six to twelve months. Teams can be from any sector or stages from pre-seed to Series A.

Additional information:

Each sprint will run for five days, with two full-day workshops on the first and third day taking place in person at Ormeau Baths. The remaining days offer bookable one-to-one support for approximately 2.5 hours per day.

These sprints are highly interactive and hands-on, so will give you the opportunity to refine your strategy, build momentum, and build powerful partnerships with investors. You'll also get support to help you:

  • stress-test your models
  • build a well-researched investor pipeline
  • create a communication strategy
  • prepare essential fundraising materials
  • meet with investors
  • gain access to an established network of over a thousand investors

At the end of the sprint, you'll have a comprehensive understanding of the venture capital market and a clear path forward to effectively raise capital. You'll also gain access to weekly virtual check-ins and bookable office hours for a total of three months to get guidance on your fundraising campaign.

The sprint programme is designed and led by Chris McClelland who has helped hundreds of founders launch and raise over $700 million in venture capital across local and international markets. Sprints will be delivered with the support from InterTradeIreland and the British Business Bank.
