Business in the Community NI has partnered with ARC Healthy Living Centre and Bogside & Brandywell Health Forum, in the Western Health & Social Care Trust area to deliver the #RETHINK programme which supports individuals to prepare for and cope with life’s uncertainties with the aim of building resilient individuals and communities.

As part of #RETHINK, Business in the Community NI offers a virtual, six-week resilience development programme, Rethink Your Resilience, for groups of up to 15 employees from organisations based in the Western Trust area.

These sessions help the individual become more resilient through a holistic approach where they learn how to reframe negative thinking, adopt positive resilience approaches and make healthier lifestyle choices that are better for physical, mental and social wellbeing.

Session themes include:

Week 1: Adjusting to the way we think
Week 2: Maintaining a healthy mind
Week 3: Maintaining a healthy body
Week 4: Keeping active
Week 5: Healthy relationships and circle of support
Week 6: Reflection and learning

On completion of the six-week programme, individuals will discuss and tailor the format of their own four-week, step-down social programme, depending on personal need.
