Newry, Mourne and Down District Council is holding two free workshops for businesses that will be delivered online.

Making Instagram work for your business

This workshop takes place on Thursday 20 October 2022, from midday to 2pm.

The webinar will cover:

• Getting the most out of Instagram
• Utilising all Instagram tools including reels, guides, live, video, posts, stories
• Planning out your grid and your stories for consistency
• Scheduling using business suite or creator studio
• Creative new ways you can use Instagram to reach your audience
• Proven strategies used to help you acquire (and retain) customers with Instagram
• Examples of the best performing Instagram posts
• How to build content that is engaging
• How to use Instagram analytics to measure success

Building your networks to win more business

This workshop will be a basic introduction to tendering, aimed at demonstrating that tenders are accessible to SMEs in a wide range of sectors.

It takes place on Wednesday 16 November 2022, from 10am to 12:30pm.

It will include:

• An outline of the NI/ROI Procurement Landscape
• A rundown of the essentials you need to consider before getting started
• The opportunity to hear from a past participant on the NMD Tender for Growth Programme about their experiences in 'getting started'
