A range of opportunities have been announced that will benefit Mid Ulster businesses
The Mid Ulster Labour Market Partnership has announced a range of programmes designed to support businesses in employment and recruitment.
Mid Ulster Employer-Led Disability Inclusion Programme
The Mid Ulster Employer-Led Disability Inclusion Programme signposts employers to workplace support programmes and grants to support the employment of individuals with disability or long-term health considerations.

Women Returners Employment Programme
The Women Returners Employment Programme supports local businesses through a bespoke programme designed to improve their understanding of flexible work policies, to raise awareness of the benefits of tapping into an under-utilised and capable labour pool, and to provide support through an employability programme that will result in a number of suitable job opportunities being identified.

HGV and Transport Training and Employment Academy
The HGV and Transport Training and Employment Academy began to recruit participants at the end of October 2023. They are currently seeking to engage local employers who can offer interview/s for participants who gain their HGV/PCV licence through the Academy.

The Health and Social Care/Classroom Assistant Academy began to recruit participants in early December 2023. They are are currently seeking to engage local employers who can offer interview/s for participants who complete the Academy.

The Tourism and Hospitality Academy launched in December 2023. They are currently seeking to engage local employers who can provide participants with work experience/placement opportunities and offer interview/s for participants who gain qualifications through the Academy.
