Free workshop for manufacturers on how to unlock value from data.

The Smart Manufacturing Data Hub (SMDH) is holding a free workshop at 10am on Tuesday 29 August 2023 at The Canal Court Hotel Newry. The event will have information on digital tools and funding available to support Northern Ireland manufacturers unlock value from data in their factory. Whether you're an engineer, a production manager, or a business leader, this workshop is the perfect opportunity to learn about practical IoT and Industry 4.0 solutions and accelerate your digital transformation.

SMDH is supporting manufacturers in NI and across the UK to become more competitive and productive through the power of data-driven technologies and data analytics tools.

Through the programme, companies across various manufacturing sectors can access expert guidance, funding and the development of digital solutions, allowing them to explore and evaluate their existing processes, make productivity improvements and operational cost savings, de-risk investments and become more digitally aware and enabled. By accessing the cloud based Data Hub platform, manufacturers can easily upload data extracted from systems and sensors in their factories and receive unique insights from a team of data scientists.

Companies can also benefit from expert analysis of their emissions and energy data, which will help them target reductions in waste, energy use and ultimately improve sustainability.

Attendees will also have the opportunity to find out about the Digi Manufacturing 2.0 program, which supports companies to create new cross-border strategic value chains and enhance the green uptake between both IDEAM Cluster and Manufacturing NI. Collaboration opportunities, financial support, business assessments and industry case-study visits are available through the Digi manufacturing program, to unlock and ignite the green transition of the all-island advanced manufacturing ecosystem with a particular emphasis on helping SMEs achieve increased productivity, competitiveness, and internationalisation objectives.
