Survey gives businesses their say on tax system issues

News article

The survey provides crucial insight into the big issues faced by small businesses including tax agents in the tax system.

The Administrative Burdens Advisory Board (ABAB) is an independent body that challenges HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) on its performance, providing robust scrutiny against key initiatives, such as Making Tax Digital and Improving Customer Experience. Their annual report reviews HMRC's progress against ABAB's priorities.

Annual survey

The annual Tell ABAB Survey is now available to complete. The survey offers small businesses, including sole traders, self-employed, micro-business, organisations or agents with less than 51 employees in the UK, an opportunity to provide ABAB with insight on the tax system which they can then use to support you.

The survey only takes about 10 minutes to complete.

The deadline to complete the survey is Tuesday 30 April 2024.
