Join a free five-week challenge to support you in growing your business overseas

Businesses are being invited to join the UK Export Academy for a five-week challenge to grow your business overseas.

Through five webinars learn the skills you need to win your first, or a brand-new order overseas. You will join a group of like-minded businesses for this fun but informative challenge. It is recommended that you join all five webinars, but you can also dip in and out to the topics that suit your needs.

This series will be hosted by Jeremy and Jules Brim, business growth and marketing experts who support businesses across all sectors to win more business.

Week 1: Challenge kick off & business growth strategy - 12 Jan 2024, 12:30 - 1:30pm

Jeremy will open the challenge with a kick off briefing followed by a session on developing your business growth strategy.

Week 2: Marketing 101 for non- marketeers - 19 Jan 2024, 12:30 - 13:30

Jules will guide you through building an international marketing strategy and developing a better understanding of your ideal overseas customer base.

Week 3: Developing value propositions - 26 Jan 2024, 12:30 - 13:30

In this session Jeremy will give an overview of how to research opportunities, understanding clients and stakeholders, assess the competitive field and how to develop value propositions to inform messaging.

Week 4: Pitching and presenting to clients - 2 Feb 2024, 12:30 - 13:30

Jeremy will run through how to prepare for,storyboard, develop content and deliver great pitches and competitive presentations to international clients.

Week 5: Bidding and closing deals - 9 Feb 2024, 12:30 - 13:30

Gain an understanding of what is involved in successfully bidding and winning deals abroad – from preparation and making good bid decisions to developing your solution and story-boarding, writing content and using review gateways to land the deal.
