UK-Israel Eureka Bilateral Collaborative R&D: Round 2
UK and Israel have opened a joint funding competition under the Eureka framework to support collaborative, business-led research and development (R&D) projects
The projects should result in a new product, industrial process or service, and must:
- be innovative
- involve a technological risk
- target large global markets
The competition will fund projects from any technological or market area.
National funding agencies will fund their respective participants in the projects. Innovate UK, part of UK Research and Innovation, will invest up to £2 million to fund collaborative R&D projects as part of this competition.
This competition is open to collaborations only. To be eligible for grant funding from Innovate UK, your collaboration must:
- include at least one UK registered business of any size
- include at least one eligible partner from Israel
- last between 12 months and 24 months
UK applicants can apply for a total grant of up to £300,000 for each project participant.
To enter this competition, the lead UK applicant must submit their Innovate UK application by 11am on Wednesday 13 September 2023.
Your project team must also complete and submit the Eureka project application form to the Eureka website by 5pm central European summer time (4pm UK time) by 11 September 2023.
