Financial Assistance - Good Relations

Financial assistance of between £500 and £1,500 for good relations projects.

Applications close at midday on Monday 12 January 2026.

Who it is for

The applicant/organisation should support the following outcomes:

  • To support projects that complement the Council’s Good Relations Strategy which identifies several key strategic priorities in meeting the good relations needs of the District.
  • Projects should aim to address one or more of the four Key Priority themes defined by The Executive Office:
    • Our Children and Young People
    • Our Shared Community
    • Our Safe Community
    • Our Cultural Expression

Support you can get

Newry, Mourne and Down District Council is inviting applications for financial assistance from the community and voluntary sector for good relations projects. 

Grants are between £500 minimum and £1,500 maximum. 

The indicative budget for the theme is £55,000. Please note this is subject to change.
