Financial assistance of between £500 and £1,500 for local biodiversity enhancement.

Applications close at midday on Monday 12 January 2026.

Who it is for

Under basic eligibility, projects must enclose:

the identity of the landowner(s)
proof of written permission, where available, for use of the land from the landowner(s)

Support you can get

Newry, Mourne and Down District Council is inviting applications for financial assistance from the community and voluntary sector for biodiversity projects.

Grants are between £500 minimum and £1,500 maximum.

Indicative budget for the theme is £10,000. Please note this is subject to change and approval.
