The Employer Toolkit is available to employers in the Mid Ulster District Council area.
Support you can get
The information provided within the Employer Toolkit has been designed to provide support to employers who are seeking to set up and offer:
- Apprenticeships, including Higher Level Apprenticeships
- graduate programmes
- student placements
- internships and work experience
In addition, the Toolkit also contains guidance on the following key areas:
- developing mentorship roles for those close to retirement
- support to implement appropriate HR policies to assist with recruitment and retention of staff
- guidance on how to introduce flexible working/hybrid working
- best practice guidance on how to improve the wellbeing of employees and promote a positive workplace culture
For ease of use, the toolkit looks at each of these areas individually and will provide businesses with links and signposting to other support providers that may be able to offer assistance with their recruitment and retention aspirations. The Employer Toolkit will link businesses with information, advice, and signposting to employment best practice approaches.
