National Lottery Awards for All Northern Ireland
The National Lottery Awards for All Northern Ireland provides funding from £300 to £20,000 to support community-led projects for up to two years.
Who it is for
Organisations can apply if they are a:
- voluntary or community organisation
- registered charity
- constituted group or club
- not-for-profit company or Community Interest Company
- school (as long as the project is not within school hours or considered part of the curriculum and has wider community benefit)
- statutory body (including town, parish and community council)
Groups with smaller incomes are more likely to be funded.
Due to high demand, organisations that have a large annual income might not be able to get funding.
There must be at least two board or committee members who are not related.
Who cannot apply:
- individuals or sole traders
- organisations based outside the UK
- companies that can pay profits to directors, shareholders, or members, including companies limited by shares
- organisations who have already received £20,000 from Awards for All in the past 12 months
- organisations that have an ongoing application for the same project awaiting a decision
- organisations applying on behalf of another organisation this includes applications written by private businesses or consultants

The National Lottery Awards for All Northern Ireland offers funding from £300 to £20,000, and can support projects for up to two years.
Projects need to do at least one of these things:
- bring people together to build strong relationships in and across communities
- improve the places and spaces that matter to communities
- help more people to reach their potential, by supporting them at the earliest possible stage
- support people, communities and organisations facing more demands and challenges because of the cost-of-living crisis
The scheme can fund:
- equipment
- one-off events
- staff costs
- training costs
- transport
- utilities
- running costs
- volunteer expenses
- small land or building projects
