Funding available to boost digital art skills and projects in NI
The Arts Council of Northern Ireland has opened for applications two Digital Evolution funding schemes to support local artists and arts organisations.
Funding for individual artists
The Individual Artists Digital Evolution Awards offer funding to help artists develop their digital skills and create digital art projects. This includes, but is not limited to, virtual or augmented reality artwork, 3D printed art, app development for delivery of artistic content, and other technology-driven creative work. The maximum award value is £10,000.
The deadline to apply is midday, Thursday 27 November 2025.

Funding for organisations
The National Lottery Organisations Digital Evolution Awards target arts organisations. The scheme supports upskilling in digital arts, creating digital artwork and immersive experiences, and delivering events or exhibitions that showcase digital art to local audiences. The maximum award value is £10,000.
The deadline to apply is midday, Thursday 27 November 2025.

Both schemes aim to encourage innovation, cross-sector collaboration, and opportunities for audiences to experience digital and immersive arts in Northern Ireland.
