Explore advanced manufacturing opportunities in South Korea

Innovate UK is inviting ambitious UK businesses to apply to take part in their Global Business Innovation Programme (GBIP) in South Korea.

The programme consists of:

  • a preparation phase in the UK
  • a 5-day innovation visit to South Korea
  • follow-up workshop and bespoke support from Innovate UK Business Growth

The innovation visit to South Korea will include a tailored programme to connect with key stakeholders and leading South Korean advanced manufacturing companies. The programme will provide a unique opportunity to find partners and identify opportunities for technology collaboration.

Focus themes for this GBIP programme are outlined in the Innovate UK materials and manufacturing vision 2050:

  • materials for the future
  • smart design
  • resilient supply chains
  • world-class production
  • longer in use and reuse

The programme is seeking applicants working on the following key technologies:

  • artificial intelligence and data technologies
  • robotics and automation
  • Industrial Internet of Things (IIOT)
  • connectivity

Successful applicants will benefit from an intensive 9 to 12 months three phased programme with bespoke support from an innovation and growth specialist throughout.

The deadline for applications is Thursday 28 March 2024.
