Scale your agritech innovation in Canada

Innovate UK is inviting UK-based agritech businesses to join their Global Incubator Programme (GIP) for market visits to Saskatchewan, Canada. Up to five businesses will be selected to receive fully funded support to engage with local agritech hubs: the Agtech Accelerator and Cultivator Business Incubator.

Saskatchewan is one of Canada's strongest agritech ecosystems. It holds over 40% of the country's cultivated farmland, giving companies direct access to real-world testing environments and a large network of producers.

Successful applicants will take part in a structured programme designed to accelerate international growth and collaboration. The programme includes:

  • a preparation workshop and programme briefing
  • up to six months working with the incubator through virtual sessions
  • two market visits to Canada (in April and July 2026)
  • follow up support to help businesses build partnerships and scale globally

The programme offers a unique opportunity to meet potential partners and collaborators, and identify opportunities for growth.

Focus areas

Applications are welcome from innovative agritech businesses that focus on, but are not limited to:

  • big data and predictive analytics
  • supply chain, traceability, and sustainability
  • precision agriculture
  • robotics and automation
  • farm management software, sensing, and Internet of Things
  • animal health

Closing date for applications is Sunday 11 January 2026.
