Upcoming Advanced Food and Drink Manufacturing Network events

Food and drink manufacturers can register for one of two events sharing the latest innovations identified during the Japan ADJUST Study Tour.

The sessions will look at practical technologies that can improve production, efficiency and product quality, and outline the new approaches seen in Japan, including:

robotics and collaborative systems
automation to streamline operations
packaging improvements
on-pack and on-product labelling
high-speed inspection for quality assurance

They will also include early details on the planned 2026 study tour to Japan, scheduled for June.

Businesses can join one of two sessions:

Online session

Thursday 20 November 2025, 11am to 12:30pm - register

In-person breakfast session

Tuesday 25 November 2025, 8am to 9:30am - register

These events are organised by the Advanced Food and Drink Manufacturing Network, a Northern Ireland Food and Drink Association project supported by Invest Northern Ireland and facilitated by Birnie Consultancy.
