Supplier Sourcing Event for Ards and North Down

Find out about the available work within the Housing Executive Private Sector Grants in the Ards and North Down area

Ards and North Down Borough Council is hosting a free in-person supplier sourcing event for small to medium sized enterprises (SMEs), including construction sector contractors and plumbers. 

Architects and other design professionals, interested in becoming involved in the design of disabled adaptations to private properties for Housing Executive Private Sector Grants, are also encouraged to attend. 

Currently, there are private sector housing grant projects available in Ards and North Down worth approximately £1.3 million. 

The purpose of this event is to encourage micro enterprises and SMEs to get involved in carrying out Affordable Warmth Scheme and Home Improvement Grants to private dwellings. 

At this event:

• The Housing Executive and Radius will share information regarding available grant work for private homeowners (not linked to procurement of Housing Executive landlord contracts).
• Officers from Ards and North Down Labour Market Partnership will also highlight the work of the Partnership and support available.
• Council Officers will also provide information on the Go Succeed service and the free business mentoring support and workshops that are available.
