AI and Cyber Security on-demand course
As part of Innovate UK BridgeAI programme, new free cyber security training is now available on demand from The Alan Turing Institute.
The seven-hour online course is designed to help you understand the risks of using artificial intelligence (AI) and how to protect your business from emerging cyber threats. It's aimed at small and medium-sized business leaders, business professionals and IT managers who want practical guidance they can apply straight away.
During the course, you will learn how to assess and manage AI-related security risks, put strong safeguards in place, and build an effective incident response plan. The course also explains how to stay compliant with UK standards and data protection regulations.
What you will cover
Across five short modules, you will explore:
- how AI is changing the cybersecurity landscape
- key controls and safeguards to protect your systems
- secure approaches to implementing AI in your organisation
- how to respond to and recover from cyber incidents
- best practice and tools to manage AI security in the long term
At the end, you will have access to a complete toolkit of best practices, resources, and actionable guidance for ongoing AI cyber security management.
The first module is available from October 2025. All five modules will be live by February 2026. You can learn at your own pace and download a completion certificate upon finishing all modules.
